About Leopard Conservation Project

The focus of the LCP(Leopard Conservation Project) is to protect Leopard from poaching,poisoning,trapping and over hunting including the collection of vital data for research purposes. The LCP has succesfully resuced 69 Leopard in the Limpopo Province to date and monitor their movements through the use of specialised GSM Cell Phone Collars.The LCP has 3 main areas of focus: Protection Research Education

Our Needs

The LCP has been in operation since 2000 and was founded by Fred Berrange our current CEO.As a registered section 21 company we rely on the support of private individuals,companies and other service groups for funding to be able to continue resuceing these threatened apex predators,currently we are loosing on average 1000 Leopard per annum in Southern Africa!The LCP is in need of financial support to grow our infrastructure and ensure our service is sustainable going forward.
